These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Selfotix website (selfotix.com), the Selfotix AI Automation Chrome Extension, related software, services, and any content, features, or applications we provide (collectively, the “Product”). By accessing or using the Product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Product.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Product, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction).

  • You have the authority to accept these Terms.

  • You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

  • If you are using the Product on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Software License Agreement (EULA)

By downloading, installing, or using the Selfotix software—including the AI Automation Chrome Extension—you agree to the Selfotix EULA. The EULA governs your rights and responsibilities regarding:

  • Software usage

  • Code and design

  • Functionality and features

Note: If the EULA conflicts with these Terms, the EULA controls for matters related to software operation.

3. Free Plan

  • Selfotix provides a free tier for personal use and limited commercial use. The free plan includes restricted access to certain features and does not require a license key.

  • Selfotix may modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue the free plan at any time without notice.

4. Product Description & Permitted Use

Selfotix provides AI-powered automation and scraping tools that help users simplify repetitive web tasks. The Product may:

  • Automate browser actions

  • Scrape publicly available website data

  • Process data using AI models (note that AI outputs, generated scripts, or automation paths may occasionally contain errors and require user supervision)

  • Integrate with third-party tools via scripts or webhooks

You agree that you will:

  • Use the Product only for lawful and authorized purposes

  • Comply with all website terms, robots.txt rules, and platform policies

  • Not scrape or automate websites that prohibit such activities

  • Not violate intellectual property, privacy, or data protection laws

  • Not bypass captchas, rate limits, or technical protections unless permitted

Your Responsibility: Selfotix only executes actions based on your instructions. You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and website terms. Selfotix does not provide legal advice.

5. User Accounts & Security

  • Some features may require registration. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and notify Selfotix of unauthorized access at [email protected].

  • Selfotix may suspend or terminate accounts for misuse or fraudulent activity.

6. User Content

  • “User Content” includes any data, inputs, prompts, scripts, workflows, scraped data, or materials processed through the Product.

  • You retain full ownership of your User Content.

  • You grant Selfotix a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to process your User Content solely to operate and improve the Product.

  • You agree NOT to upload or transmit: Illegal content, harmful code, sensitive personal information without authorization, or content violating third-party rights.

7. Privacy, Data Storage & Local Device Responsibility

Your personal data is handled per our Privacy Policy.

Local-Only Data Storage (IMPORTANT CLAUSE)

Selfotix does not store, access, or back up your workflows, scraped data, project files, automation history, or any related information on cloud servers. All such data is stored locally on your device unless you manually export or transmit it through a third-party service.

No Data Recovery

Because data is stored only on your system, Selfotix cannot:

  • Retrieve deleted workflows

  • Recover lost scraped data

  • Restore overwritten or corrupted files

  • Access or view your saved data at any time

Your responsibilities include:

  • Creating backups

  • Safeguarding your data

  • Preventing accidental deletion

Warning: Selfotix is not responsible for any loss resulting from local device failures, user actions, or workflow deletion.

8. Refund Policy & Terms

Refund Windows & Third-Party Purchases

  • Third-Party Partnerships: We partner with multiple third-party affiliates and platforms. Refund windows (such as 7 days, 14 days, 30 days, or 60 days) apply based on the specific agreement between the two parties or the platform through which you purchased.

  • Direct Purchases: If you purchased directly from us, the applicable refund period is 7 days, 14 days, 30 days, or 60 days based on the specific agreement established between you and Selfotix at the time of purchase.

Extended Feedback-Based Refunds

Our refund system is automated. However, if you feel our product is not worth it, we value your detailed feedback. We are open to reviewing requests and issuing a refund even after more than 25% of the standard refund period has passed, provided meaningful feedback is shared.

Refund Deductions & Bonus Offer

  • Deduction Details: When a refund is processed, you will receive 93% of your total payment amount. This accounts for non-recoverable payment gateway and currency conversion fees (such as PayPal and currency fees) which we are unable to absorb for refunded transactions.

  • Special Bonus: While we cannot cover those transactional fees, we are happy to offer you free access to our upcoming product, Fort Prompt, as a token of appreciation. While Fort Prompt is built rapidly within days, Selfotix was meticulously engineered over years, and we want to ensure you still walk away with immense value.

9. Early Supporters & Lifetime Access Terms

  • Lifetime Access Eligibility: Early supporters, early testers, and early buyers who secured early access are granted lifetime access to the Product. This applies whether you joined via a 3rd-party partner or directly to support the founder and the product.

  • Support Scope for Early Access: Lifetime users are entitled to general account support. While you can email us to report bugs or technical issues, we do not provide custom support for building or troubleshooting personal workflows.

  • Template Limitations: Pre-built templates may or may not work depending on frequent and unpredictable website structural changes. You are welcome to inform us of broken templates via our community channel or email, but we cannot guarantee fixes since third-party website layouts are entirely outside our control.

10. Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions

Commission Rate & Duration

  • Commission Rate: Affiliates earn a 20% commission on each eligible subscription purchased through their unique affiliate link.

  • Subscription Commission Duration: Commissions are paid for the first 30 days of an eligible customer’s subscription.

  • Tracking Cookie: Affiliate referrals are tracked using a 30-day cookie. If a customer subscribes within 30 days of clicking your affiliate link, the referral will be credited to your account.

Payout Schedule & Minimums

  • Payout Schedule: Payouts are issued monthly on the 1st of each month for approved commissions earned during the previous month.

  • Minimum Balance: To receive a payout, your account must have a minimum balance of $50 USD in approved commissions.

Payment Methods

Payments are made via your selected payment method, including:

  • PayPal

  • Bank Transfer

Important: Please ensure your payment information is accurate and up to date in your affiliate dashboard to avoid payment delays.

Commission Eligibility

Commissions are only paid on successful, completed subscription payments. The following are not eligible for commission:

  • Refunded subscriptions

  • Cancelled subscriptions

  • Chargebacks

  • Fraudulent or duplicate transactions

  • Self-referrals (if prohibited by the program)

Rights Reserved: We reserve the right to withhold, reverse, or deny commissions and payouts for accounts involved in fraudulent, abusive, or suspicious activity, or for violations of the Affiliate Program Terms.

11. Chrome Web Store Availability & Continuity Plan

  • Store Compliance: Our product is distributed via the official Chrome Web Store, built with trust and in strict adherence to Chrome Web Store policies.

  • Store Removal Contingency: If our extension is ever taken down from the Chrome Store, we will do our absolute best to resolve the issue with Google, as this impacts our business just as much as it impacts you.

  • Alternative Sideloading & Refund Options:

    • If the Chrome Store ultimately does not reinstate the extension, we will provide early adopters and active 1-year to 3-year subscription holders with the extension source/install file so you can seamlessly continue accessing the software via Chrome’s Developer Mode.

    • If you are not interested in utilizing Developer Mode during a store removal event, we will issue a prorated refund for your remaining subscription period.

12. Intellectual Property

  • Selfotix retains all rights to software and code, trademarks and logos, UI/UX elements, documentation, and proprietary algorithms.

  • You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, sell, or distribute the Product.

  • Feedback and suggestions may be used by Selfotix without obligation.

13. Third-Party Services

The Product may interact with third-party websites, APIs, and platforms. Selfotix is not responsible for:

  • Third-party content

  • Their availability or performance

  • Their policies or restrictions

Note: Your use of third-party tools is entirely at your own risk.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Product is provided “as is” and “as available.” Selfotix does not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free operations

  • Accuracy of AI outputs or generated automation sequences

  • Scraper functionality when websites change layouts

  • Protection against anti-bot systems, captchas, or rate limits

Risk Advisory: Automation and scraping inherently involve risks.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Selfotix shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages

  • Data loss (including locally stored workflows or scraped data)

  • Profit loss or business interruption

  • Legal consequences of scraping or automation

  • Misuse of the Product

Note: Your use of the Product is at your own risk.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Selfotix harmless from claims arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your scraping or automation actions

  • Your misuse of the Product

  • Any breach of third-party rights

17. Termination

  • Selfotix may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse automation features, engage in harmful or unlawful activity, or threaten platform security.

  • Upon termination, all rights to use the Product stop immediately.

18. Changes to These Terms

Selfotix may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes may be communicated through:

  • Email

  • Website notice

  • Extension update notice

Note: Continued use constitutes acceptance.

19. Governing Law

  • Governing Law: The laws of India.

  • Jurisdiction: Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.

20. Severability

If any section of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
